Ryan is a Creative Director at Gretel in New York. His work balances structural rigor with stylistic expression and his expertise lies in finding clear, thoughtful and striking solutions to the complex problems of modern branding.

Clients include Netflix, Nike, VICE, National Geographic, The New York Times, IFC, and MoMA. His work has been recognized by the D&AD, the Art Directors Club, the Type Directors Club, and the Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards. Ryan’s work has been featured in Wired, Fast Co., Creative Review, Communication Arts, It’s Nice That, Motionographer and his brand work for Netflix was named Best of The Year by Brand New in 2015.

Ryan also taught Motion Graphics Portfolio, a studio for graduating seniors at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan for several years. He's a frequent guest critic in classrooms around the city and occasional speaker at branding and design conferences around the country.
